MLB Betting Preview: Rangers Look To Reclaim Best Record In Baseball Over Yankees

The Texas Rangers were arguably the best team in baseball through the first half of the season, ranking first in nearly every significant statistical category on offense and sending an incredible eight players to the All-Star game. However, a late surge from the New York Yankees that included them winning 21 of 29 games before the break left Texas with the second-best record in the majors at the break, one-half game back of New York. The Rangers will look to bounce right back to the top of the standings as they travel to Seattle to play the lowly Mariners, which are currently stuck in the basement of the AL West with the worst record in the AL. The Yankees meanwhile won’t have it quite as easy as they welcome the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to town for a three-game set.

NASCAR Sportsbook Preview: Stewart Looks To Continue Ascent Heading In To New Hampshire

Defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart charged past Daytona 500 winner and current points leader Matt Kenseth for a dramatic win at the Daytona International Speedway this past weekend, and will now look to continue his climb up the standings with another strong performance at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Sunday. Stewart moved to fifth in the SCS standings with his third win of the season, already three more than he had all of last year before the Chase, and is now 84 points behind Kenseth for top spot. A pair of Hendrick Motor Sports drivers will do everything they can to prevent Stewart from getting another win this weekend and make a push of their own. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is currently second in the points standings, 25 back of Kenseth after finishing 15th at Daytona, while former five-time champion Jimmie Johnson 58 points back in fourth after finishing 36th, the first time in six races he finished outside the top-10.

Online NFL Betting Preview: Saints Still Without Brees; Patriots Without Welker As Camps Approach

The NFL season is less than two months away, but the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots still haven’t reach agreements with a pair of Pro Bowl players. The Saints’ camp opens July 28th, but they still haven’t come to terms on a new deal with franchise quarterback Drew Brees. Meanwhile, the Patriots open camp two days before that, but are still without an extension for Wes Welker. This Sunday will mark exactly one week from when the first NFL training camp opens, as the Philadelphia Eagles begin training camp on July 22 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
