Sport Betting Online – What To Wager On Next Week
The summer’s betting action would focus on the Olympics, which is almost finished, and now it’s time to get back to baseball, which dominates the first half of the week, but NFL preseason takes us into the weekend.
Monday
Yankees Rangers Odds (7:00 PM ET): Ryan Dempster said that he would only be traded from the Chicago Cubs to Texas or the New York Yankees, and the Cubs granted him his wish, moving the veteran to the Rangers. He’ll face the other team on his wish list on Monday in the Bronx, and he’ll be up against a former Cy Young winner in C.C. Sabathia, who always gives the Yankees an edge at sport betting sites.
Tuesday
Nationals Giants Odds (10:15 PM ET): Washington’s Jordan Zimmerman and San Francisco’s Madison Bumgarner have been putting up great numbers in 2012, and it could be a long day for the hitters as the two square off on Tuesday night at AT&T Park. The Nationals are controlling the National League East, but in the West, the Giants are trying to hold off the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Wednesday
Nationals Giants Odds (3:45 PM ET): Still, that game can’t hold a candle to this matchup, which should be watched even if you didn’t plan on betting in your online sports book. In one corner, you have San Francisco’s Tim Lincecum, the two-time Cy Young winner who is rounding into form, and in the other you have Washington’s Stephen Strasburg, who will win at least two of them before he is done. This is an excellent matinee to keep an eye on.
Thursday
Browns Packers Odds (8:00 PM ET): Cleveland has far more to play for in this game as the Packers are all set in terms of places, pretty much all over the field on both sides of the ball. The Browns have named rookie Brandon Weeden as their starter, but you have to think that Colt McCoy still has a chance, although another storyline for this game has McCoy being traded to the Packers, who are looking for a backup to Aaron Rodgers. Expect the Packers to be the favorites in this NFL betting (find more NFL betting odds here) contest.
Friday
Dolphins Panthers Odds (8:00 PM ET): Finally, Miami heads to Carolina and any time you have a chance to watch Cam Newton, even if it is for a couple of series, you take it. The Panthers are being tipped by many to make a big move in the standings this season thanks to their quarterback, and fantasy owners will be interested to see/hear how Newton is progressing in his second season. Look for the Panthers to be the football betting favorites here.
