San Jose SaberCats vs. Philadelphia Soul

- The San Jose SaberCats and the Philadelphia Soul will both be gunning for a victory on Sunday July 27 when they meet at New Orleans Arena in this year’s ArenaBowl.

Philadelphia opened as a 3 1/2 point favorite and the total was at 119 1/2.

The SaberCats pounded the Rampage 81-55 in the American Conference final last time out. The SaberCats covered the 6-point spread, and the combined 136 points sailed OVER the posted total of 119.

Mark Grieb tossed eight touchdown strikes and completed 24-of-30 pass attempts for 255 yards in leading the SaberCats to the ArenaBowl.

The Soul cruised past the Gladiators 70-35 in the National Conference final last time out. The Soul easily covered the 6.5-point spread, while the combined 105 points fell UNDER the posted total of 117.

Matt D’Orazio completed 17-of-25 pass attempts for 184 yards with eight touchdowns in that win for Philadelphia. Larry Brackins and Brent Holmes each had two touchdowns on the day.
