Betting on the 2012 Euro Cup

Euro 2012 betting will take the spotlight later in the week as the quarterfinals kick off in Poland and the Ukraine, but first there is some baseball action to take care of, along with Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Monday

Cubs White Sox Odds (8:10 PM ET): The White Sox are favored at home by online MLB betting odds as they wrap up a set with their city rivals, and they’ll have Zach Stewart on the hill to face Matt Garza and the Cubs, who are looking to avoid a four-game sweep in this interleague matchup.

Tuesday

Thunder Heat Odds (9:00 PM ET): Sports betting (find more sports betting information by clicking here) sharps have been treated to a fantastic first three games of the NBA Finals in which Miami has taken a 2-1 series lead over Oklahoma City. The Heat were in the same position last year, and now they’ll have to do a better job of closing the deal when they host the Thunder at home on Tuesday as a 4-point favorite, but Oklahoma City isn’t going to go quietly, you can bet on that.

Wednesday

Rangers Padres Odds (6:35 PM ET): San Diego isn’t a great hitting team and Petco Park is notoriously tough place to hit, so you would think that the Padres would be the online betting underdogs at home on Wednesday against Texas, who will go with Yu Darvish on the mound. Darvish has been quite good so far in his first season, and it could be a long night for San Diego hitters.

Thursday

Czech Republic Portugal Odds (2:45 PM ET): Portugal managed to overcome the online Euro 2012 betting odds and make it out of the group of death, also known as Group B, and they’ll be favored at -140 when they take on the Czech Republic to begin the quarterfinal round of the tournament. The Czechs recovered nicely from a poor start against the Russia, and this should be an entertaining affair.

Friday

Germany Greece Odds (2:45 PM ET): The action continues on Friday with Germany and Greece going head to head, and the Greeks backed their way into the quarterfinals; for that, they are rewarded with the Germans, one of the teams to beat in the tournament. Germany hasn’t really left third gear yet and they still managed to win all their group matches, so we could finally see the real Germany team on Friday against a Greek team that is going to sit back and defend. However, Germany is favored at -310, which shouldn’t surprise knowledgeable soccer fans that are heading to an online sports betting book.
