Eskimos CFL Football Betting

With the 2010 regular season champion Calgary Stampeders hot on their heels, the Edmonton Eskimos have refused to budge on their quest for the top spot in the West Division. Their persistence has been reflected on the CFL betting board.

This Friday, Edmonton will host the reigning champion Montreal Alouettes in a true test of might. If the Eskies plan on claiming the West’s first-round playoff bye come the end of the season, they’ll have to start piling up wins wherever they can get them.

After breaking out to the league’s best start through Weeks 1-5, the Eskimos started to skid midseason. Fortunately for Ricky Ray and co., over the Labour Day Weekend they managed to right their ship, thwarting division rival Calgary and getting their season back on track.

Now, according to Bodog’s online sportsbook, Edmonton has 9/2 odds of winning the Grey Cup, just a hair below more established Calgary and Montreal who sit tied at 4/1.

While the Alouettes deal with their own struggles in the East Division, the Week 13 matchup between the two clubs promises to be one of desperation. Bet on the CFL now if you think you know which team has the upper hand.
