NCAAF Betting – BCS Championship Game Pits Big 12 vs SEC

The SEC has been the top conference in college football over the past decade but for the first time in a while, online sports betting handicappers watched the Big 12 take center stage this year.
Sportsbook odds have listed the Gators as a five-point favorite over the Oklahoma Sooners and the line has been climbing as the online sports betting sharps continue to back the Gators.
Earlier this week, the Sooners took some jabs at Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and the Gators have remained humble. It seems like the team that has done the trash talking typically ends up eating their words after the game.
While the Sooners offense tore up the Big 12, the Big 12 isn’t exactly known for defense. The SEC’s defenses were weaker than usual, but on the whole they were still more of a challenge than the Big 12. Florida scored 31 points on Alabama at a neutral site, which is a much better accomplishment than any defense that Oklahoma beat up.
The Gators have advantages on offense, since they are more balanced, and have the better special teams units as well as defense. That figures to be the difference on Thursday night as Bob Stoops and the Sooners just haven’t been tested enough in close games this season.
