NCAA Tournament Preview: Florida Gators vs. BYU Cougars

The Florida Gators and the BYU Cougars will both be trying to pick up a win on Thursday when they battle at Ford Center.

Oddsmakers currently have the Cougars listed as 4½-point favorites versus the Gators, while the game’s total has not yet been posted.

Florida was upended 75-69 by Mississippi State on Friday in the Southeastern Conference tournament, as 1.5-point underdogs. That game’s 144 points sailed OVER the posted total of 132.

Kenny Boynton had 23 points for Florida, and Erving Walker collected 19 in the loss.

BYU was defeated 70-66 by UNLV in the Mountain West Conference tournament on Friday, as 1-point underdogs. That game’s 136 points went UNDER the posted total of 147.

Jimmer Fredette had 30 points in the loss for BYU.
