Kyle Busch raced out to an early lead, but fell back before charging through in the end to claim the checkered flag ahead of Jeff Gordon and win his second straight Health Calhoun 400 at Richmond International Raceway Saturday night.
Kevin Harvick came in third and overtook 10th place finisher Jimmie Johnson for top spot in the overall standings for the Chase. Jeff Burton came across in fourth spot, while Carl Edwards closed out the top five.
Juan Montoya finished the race in sixth position and Martin Truex Jr. was seventh. Ryan Newman finished in the top 10 for the third time this season, coming in eighth. Marcos Ambrose finished ahead of Johnson in ninth for his best result this year.
The drivers of Nascar will next take to the track on May 8th when they look to capture the Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
