A recent run in the standings has not only put the Angels back in the conversation of potential teams to win the largely Texas-dominated division, but allowed Albert Pujols to regain some confidence at the plate.


After a dismal start to the season, Pujols has hit four home runs and knocked in 24 RBI in May alone. Is it safe to say that the superstar free agent is finally living up to his price tag?


According to Bovada’s MLB oddsmakers, the Angels have 15/1 odds of winning the World Series. The Rangers, in contrast, who they’ll square off against in a three-game set starting this Friday, lead the league with 5/1 odds on that same MLB betting line.
