GIQ WNBA Preview — San Antonio Silver Stars at Minnesota Lynx

by Frisco Del Rosario on July 10, 2009

When the Stars’ road record was 0-3 SU and ATS, they had the excuse that two of those games were played without their best player. But then in Seattle on Tuesday, San Antonio scored a season-low 53, with 13 assists and 5 assists from Becky Hammon.

The Lynx, surprisingly, have made the same record — 4-2 SU — without Seimone Augustus that they made with her, but they’ve been less reliable for bettors. When their All-Star was healthy, the Lynx were 4-2 ATS with and 6-0 O/U; since then, 3-3 ATS and 4-2 O/U.

In four home games, the Lynx beat the spread twice as a dog, and lost to the spread as a favorite. In each of the pairs, they were 1-1 O/U.
