In the tightly-knotted Eastern Conference, 10 wins puts a team second, third, or fourth. By virtue of two fewer losses, the Mystics find themselves in second place while hosting the Fever, who are trying to leave the pack in the dust.
Washington’s last homestand was a 4-2 success straight up, but the Mystics were 3-3 ATS, 3-3 O/U, and the matchup with the Fever was a 12-point win for Indiana, who outshot and outrebounded the home team.
Except for that win, Indiana was unspectacular on that road swing, losing 84-65 in San Antonio and 67-61 in Connecticut. Katie Douglas shot 9-for-33 on that road trip, but was 19-of-40 last week in two 30-point games.
The Fever are 2-2 ATS as a road favorite, 3-1 O/U. They are 6-1 O/U since July 15. The Mystics are 4-2 O/U in that time.
