Well, f*ck me sideways. We had a great like, 7 minutes, and then it was all downhill from there. The better team won, but what a piss poor performance by United.

My buddy who follows this league closely posted this at another site:

One game I am on this evening is Tranmere to beat MK Dons. MK Dons with some big injury problems at both ends of the pitch, it seems. Their two centre halves (Lewington the captain and new signing Doumbe) miss out after having to go off at half-time at the weekend following a nasty clash of heads. Also missing another defender in Sean O'Hanlon.

They're also without 2 of last year's top 3 scorers, Wilbraham (16 goals) and Leven (10 goals), while Soccernet also claims last season's 2nd top scorer Baldock (12 goals) is also out. No mention of that on the MKDons website, but he didn't play in either of the first two games of the season, so assume he will also be out. They've struggled for goals this season, drawing both league games so far 0-0, and lost 1-4 at home to Swindon in the league cup.

Tranmere had the second strongest home record in the division last year (although to be fair, MK had the 2nd strongest away record). They're unbeaten at home in the league since October 2008, since then they've won 14 and drawn 5.

Life has been pretty hectic, but with all the soccer leagues and NFL/NCAA back, I'll be posting as much as possible

I don't see much value today, so I'm just playing a small 3-teamer. The handicap lines in both the ManU and Pool games scare me a bit, as I can see them going either way.
