Nevada @ Fresno State
Tonight's WAC match-up pits two of the worst defenses in college against one another. Fresno State comes into tonight sporting the worst defense against the run in football. That's 119th out of 119 teams! They give up nearly 6 yards per carry. While Nevada comes in averaging over 38 points per game led by a solid ground game. Nevada's defense however comes in ranked 109th in the nation and Fresno averages over 30 points per game. Things look to be a shootout and the oddsmaker's set the line at a lofty 70 points. The real issue though is injuries. The Bulldogs have both of their running backs listed as questionable and Tommy Tip's has some interesting information on Ryan Mathews condition. Fresno State is coming off a road loss to Louisiana Tech and barely squeaked out a win against pitiful Utah State. Even their usual home dominance has disappeared as they have fallen twice this year already. Nevada has put up 35 points or more in each game this year but has also not played to expectations losing their last game to Hawaii and a home game to New Mexico State. I expected this game to be a high scoring win by Fresno State but until I know the game time status of the injuries I am hesitant to take any action but to play the OVER 70. Call Tomm'ys Tips all night for the injury updates to see if it will effect the side or total at 1 -888- 850 - 8211. Not a service just a recording.
