I'm a CFL fan,. I'll post plays as we go but won't likely have too many write-ups. I have no posted record so tail at your own risk.

    For tomorrow

    I'm on TO/Ham o50

TO -1 (This says a lot as I'm from Hamilton) A couple of points on these plays

Hope springs eternal for hamilton again this year. I think the offense can score, but I'm not sure about the defence (in the 2 pre season game the D gave up all kinds of penalties, including 3 pass interference calls a game)
Usually any TO game that were in the low 50's the only play was the under, however new coaching staff this year and a commitment to a QB with a throw first offense.

In the late game really like Calgary at the -3/3.5 it opened at, but the line has moved to to -5.5 which makes it a no play

I'm leaning towards the under but haven't played it yet, will wait till tomorrow, currently at 52.5.

So the 2 official plays are to-1 and the over 50, in the early game.

I read somewhere the Unders were 4-0 last year and 10-2 the last several years on opening night/Weekend.... doesn't mean shit.... but just something I thought I would mention...

Thanks for posting and will look forward to your plays...

Wow some big line moves in the CFL tonight. TO is now +2, and total is 51.5.

Montreal is now +7.5 (I believe this opened at 3), total still at 52.5.

Couple of points on this game

Best two D's in the league last year (although calgary released their MLB jojuan armour last week due to conflict between him and the coach)

Calgary may be without kenyon Rambo (hammy) teams leading receiver

Calgary also start 2 rookie H backs (on the D), where montreal's slot receiver Ben Cahoun has been dominant in the league.

    bets for day 1

    To -1 (even), ham/to o50 (-105)
    MTl +7.5 (+104), cgy/mtl u52.5 (-115)

FYI all lines are from Pinny

2-2 yesterday, really sad that we didn't get that TO/ham over. It was 33 at half time and 40 after the opening drive of the 2nd half. Only 7 points after that

    Esks -8 (-102)

New QB for Winnipeg, Lefors (former esks back-up). Edmonton acquired the best RB in the league (Lumsden) when he's healthy. I think the esks have too much on both sides of the ball for a rebuilding Winnipeg team.

    2-3 -$122

    BC even, -105

Both defenses are messed up after last season. The only unit intact is BC's DBs. Each side lost LB's and Dline, along with Sask losing it D co-ordinator.

Wes Cate SSK RB is out tonight and he's their best offensive player. BC starts a relative new comer in Ian smart after Logan heads to Pitt (nfl).

I have no idea how the scoring going to work in this one with so many changes on D. But BC, O other than RB is intact and they can stretch the field. Sask has some good position guys but may be challenged going long.

    2-4. -227

Crazy game last night, 6 fumbles, 6 int's, 2 blocked punts and a turnover on downs.

Not a great way to start the season, but there's always next week.

Lot's of key injuries in week 1 (lumsden, smart, the entire hamilton RB team, g Simon and another bc WR)

Well lets' hope last weeks relaxing vacation get us off back on the right track

    For tonight

First Quarter--O 10.5, -110 - MTL could put this up themselves. The cats can't afford the same slow start they've had in there first 3 games, if they want to keep it close.

    First Half MTL -7.5, -108

    Game, MTL -14, -105

Hamilton is better, but so is MTL. Can't figure out how they keep it close.

Still can't figure out how MTL didn't cover last night, that really hurt.

    6-8 -252

    Argos + 4.5 -105 and Under 51 -120

    BC/CGY U 59.5 -115
