Is the new NCAA 3-PT Line Making Difference ?

I mean is anyone watching the first 2 weeks of college hoops know any stats on whether the new line is affecting totals.. does it really matter tho..? Nah.

It seems many of of the box scores I've looked at, shooting % is UP . Not sure about that tho. Maybe teams are practiced now to go to hoop more.. higher % shots . ?

Shooting percentage is going to be up... Defenses are going to have to extend themselves instead of packing all 5 guys within 16' or so to the basket... Now they have to extend out which is going to make the Mid-range jumper a more a part of the College game again... will 3 point percentages go down? Probably not because now only your better shooters will be out there, but there will be fewer shots taken.... My February we will have a good idea what it is going to do the the game in the short term
