Michael Buffer is making the final introductions. The crowd is booing Lesnar. The crowd gives Couture a huge ovation.
Round 1: This fight is underway. They're in a clinch immediately and Lesnar lands a couple of knees. Lesnar lands another knee in the clinch, against the cage. The crowd is overwhelmingly behind Couture. They're just grabbing and then Couture lands a big right hand. Lesnar punches but misses, and then shoots in for the takedown. Couture shows good takedown defense against the cage. And now Couture is down and Lesnar is on top. Lesnar's in a good position but Couture is trying to get back up. Couture attempted a choke from behind but Lesnar grabbed Couture's leg and got him off. Lesnar is on top, Couture is hanging on for dear life. Lesnar lands a couple of left hands to Couture's face. Lesnar is showing a lot more patience than he did against Frank Mir. Couture scrambles back up to his feet. Couture lands a couple of knees. Lesnar grabbed the fence and the ref warned him. The first round is over and I'm giving it to Lesnar, 10-9.
Round 2: Lesnar comes in with a left jab. Randy is hurt with an elbow! Lesnar hurt Couture, but Couture recovered quickly and got Lesnar up against the cage. Big knee from Lesnar followed by a big punch from Couture. Lesnar is bleeding on his right eye. Lesnar lands an uppercut. Couture has Lesnar against the cage, Lesnar has landed a couple of punches.
Lesnar with another knee. Couture goes down!
