How many people do you know that frequent casinos each week?

I have many acquaintances, friends and family whom visit the riverboats and casinos here at least once a week. I have never stepped foot on a riverboat yet. I like sports betting way more than any casino game.

Just 10 years ago all we discussed were the horses. Now it is rare for me to discuss horses with many people I speak to personally. The casinos are the most entertainment now.

I go to AC a couple times a month.But it only takes me about hour by car.
My friend and his wife used to go every week for about a year.

One of my cousins goes there 5 times a week, 7' hours per day. He works there for those who didn't get it. If one's asking about people who go there to wager, I know of a dozen not including anyone in my family.

I don't have even a remote interest in casinos. If someone offered me a free trip to Atlantic City, I would probably decline unless they were willing to pay me for my time as well.

I used to go fairly often. I developed some skill at counting cards at Blackjack about 20 years ago. But I can't be bothered with that now.

I don't think I know anyone that frequents casinos much either. My ex - who is still a very close friend - is a member of G.A. so once upon a time, she was into the casinos. But not at all now.

I know too many people that go there. A few of them go there 4-5 times a week. for about 6 hours each time but most of them are kind of like me. We just go every once in a while because we are bored and want to go out and away from the crowd at our usual watering hole.

Got lots of family in Western KY though (poor guys) that dive for 1 hour to go to metropolis, IL for their riverboat casino. Their reason is that its one of the few places where you can get booze anytime as well as being a different form of entertainment. Not much to do in KY.
