Did I just hear Lesner Fighting for UFC Championship??

Had my back to the TV and the commercial come on DTV... and said he was fighting July 20 at Mandalay Bay for the UFC Championship against some Intern Champ? Tried to rewind my TIVO but my Kids had it maxed out at a hour behind watching American Gladiators and couldn't... Sure seems early for him to be going for Gold

Yeah - it's being promoted a lot. Even just saw a huge billboard right near my office today with Lesnar on it.

I don't watch much UFC.... but keep up with it some... He has Progressed this far? cause he did not look good his first fight I watched

Yeah, he's a lot more wary of counter-moves now, and he's learned some new ones of his own. I actually thought he was in the process of destroying Mir the first time before he made the mistake and got caught in the leglock. He's an insanely talented athlete, though, it was only a matter of time.

He's just bigger than all of the guys he's fought so far. The 265 pound weight limit is perfect for Lesnar.

In my opinion they should make a super heavyweight division. For now the weight range is 205 to 265 lbs.

I agree wholeheartedly on that one. Like, 250 and up gets their own division.

What I wouldn't do to see Fedor-Lesnar.

Georges St. Pierre vs Thiago Alves, 5 rounds for the welterweight championship

Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping, 3 rounds

These are the 3 headline fights.

And there are a few on the undercard that could be decent. I really wanna see that Jon Jones kid, I've been very impressed with his mix of strength and agility. He has limbs that go forever.
