Question Will Bill Laimbeer Be the Next Coach of the Detroit Pistons?

He left the Detroit Shock a couple of weeks ago after Unprecedented success in the WNBA and winning 3 Titles in 6 years.... Left to Pursue an NBA Job... Do you think Dumars will Bring back one of his "Bad Boy" Teammates to try to Revive the Pistons?

I don't think you can take the guy and send him straight to the head coaching job. Especially after you've seen what his teammates have done to the program to this point!

The man was a good coach when he was an assistant in the NBA before... got his feet wet in the WNBA as a head coach and did an excellent job... I think they can make worse Hires and it would stop the recycling of the same ole dipshits that keep getting hired and fired

Default I would like to see that....

As a Pistons fan, this is something I'd like to see. There's no one really out there -- except for Avery Johnson, who they passed on once -- for them to go after, and Laimbeer has the ties to the team and to Joe D.

I don't know if this would be in the best interest for Laimbeer, though, because Detroit is going to be a team in flux for at least another season until they decide which way they want to go with rebuilding. He may have troubles next year, for sure.
