Pop singer Michael Jackson was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after slipping into cardiac arrest Thursday

LOS ANGELES - Pop star Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles-area hospital this afternoon, according to celebrity gossip website TMZ.com.

Sources say a 9-1-1 call was received from Jackson's Holby Hills, California home shortly after 12:20pm Thursday afternoon. Paramedics performed CPR on the singer during his transport to a Los Angeles hospital.

Michael Jackson Dies

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

LaToya ran in the hospital sobbing, after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

I watched some of the trial on court T.V. A kid got up and testified how M.J. put his hands on the kids dick and other sick shit. All these followers who don't think the guy was a pedophile are in a state of denial. The guy was talented, but his music wasn't anything special, in my opinion.
