| cfl play... i am making small play on something that i don't know enough about. but i am getting antsy about making a bet (lol), so i thought that i would try a play in the cfl. I am not that familiar with the rules & have never watched a cfl game.....but did do some research....the play is based strictly on trends & a system that i read about.as i said normally i wouldn't make such a play, but what the hell...lol.
under 54 (120) winnipeg/ toronto.....
here is a situational system & some trends supporting this play....
play under - road teams where the total is greater than or equal to 52 (winnipeg) - revenging a close loss by 7 points or less to opponent.
the ats record is 26-6 over the last 5 seasons.......81.2%
the average total posted in these games was: 55.3
the average score in these games was: team 21.9, opponent 25.7 (total points scored = 47.5)
The number of games in which this system covered the total by 7 or more points was 17 (54.8% of all games.)
here are some trends....
winnipeg is 6-0 under revenging a same season loss versus opponent over the last 2 seasons.......the average score was winnipeg 23.3, opponent 14.0
toronto is 33-13 under in a home game where the total is between 49.5 and 56 since 1996.......the average score was toronto 26.0, opponent 21.1
toronto is 25-10 under in home games after being outgained by opp by 70 or more total yards last game since 1996.....the average score was toronto 22.0,opponent 21.2
additionally 7 of 9 games in this series have gone under the total over the last 3 seasons
there is one thing that makes me leary about this play & it's the reason why i'm playing this small (1*)....
these 2 teams played each other on 6/27/08 & the total was 42...... toronto won 23-16 which means that they went under. if the teams went under in that previous game then why is the total higher for this game ? maybe somebody who knows the cfl can answer this question.
good luck. |

On a scale of 10, how strong a play do you feel this is? |
