Arsenal and Bolton have been put on red alert after Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso revealed he will leave Portugal at the end of the season. (Daily Mail)

After losing 5-0 to Bayern Munich last week Miguel Veloso pretty much threw in the towel regarding his future at Sporting. Have said it before and would say it again that Veloso would be a perfect fit for Arsenal but it will never happen.

Arsenal will also take on Chelsea for the signature of Atletico Madrid’s 16-year-old midfielder Sergio Marcos who is a free agent in the summer. (Daily Mirror)

Now this is an Arsenal style transfer.

Tottenham want to take Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic on loan. The 18-year-old scored 10 goals last term but has failed to make an impact at the Nou Camp this season. (Daily Mirror)

Once former team mate Giovanni dos Santos gets word of this I wouldn’t be shocked if he places a call to Bojan and tells him to stay as far away from Tottenham as possible.

Fulham have opened talks with highly rated defender Brede Hangeland over a new deal. (Daily Star)

Fulham would love to tie Hangeland down to a new deal before the summer. Come the summer if Hangeland doesn’t sign a contact extension look for a slew of teams to tempt Hangeland away from Fulham.

Hull’s Geovanni has apologised to Tigers boss Phil Brown after the Brazilian striker shook his head and stared aggressively at Brown when he was substituted in the home defeat by Blackburn. (Various)

This is now the second year in a row that Geovanni’s game has slipped as the season goes on.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce has hailed Titus Bramble as a top-class defender. Bruce said: “Titus now looks like the real deal everyone thought he could be.” (Daily Mirror)

Coaches have to talk up their players since it makes sense to boost their confidence. In Bramble’s defence he hasn’t made many errors this season. Despite this a best of video by a Newcastle fan will be displayed below.

Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric has called for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo to stop moaning. Modric said: “He Really overdoes the theatrical bits.” (Various)

Modric isn’t exactly wrong but Tottenham didn’t exactly pay 15 million pounds for them to be two points away from the bottom three. Luka Modric should worry about his own play first before taking shots at Ronaldo.

West Ham midfielder Jack Collison has thanked boss Gianfranco Zola for giving him chance to shine this season. (Various)

One of my favorite things about Zola thus far is his faith in young players. Too many managers are simply afraid to play young players now. Zola has gone against this train of through and has utilized West Ham youth setup to his advantage. In return for the faith showed in them, players like Collison have been impressive this season.
