Currently in the midst of a heated National League West race, the Dodgers will need all the help they can get if they’re to beat out their rivals San Francisco Giants down the stretch. With the NL wild card race looking perhaps even more competitive than their division race, the club has opted to not take any chances.
Not only do Victorino and Ramirez add big names to the L.A. franchise coming off a down year in 2011, but they bump the club up the MLB futures as well. Expect the Dodgers’ odds of winning the World Series to climb even higher if Victorino and Ramirez transition smoothly to the West Coast.
