Online sportsbook customers, online sports betting enthusiasts and NFL football betting sharps are all studying up on a week full of NFL football lines , NFL football odds, and NFL football spreads as they aspire to make their NFL football picks.

Let’s break down the NFL football betting matchups that will be most relevant to offshore sports wagering enthusiasts!

Bengals vs Steelers odds

Big Ben Roethlisberger will be looking to continue his dominance over the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. The Bengals tallied their first point of the season, unusually, a tie with the Eagles last week.

Colts vs Chargers odds

The struggling Chargers pass rush and secondary will have their hands full with Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday. Both teams will need big weeks from struggling running backs, LaDainian Tomlinson and Joseph Addai, if they want to take the ‘W.’

Giants vs Cardinals odds

Two stellar defenses going at it in this matchup which sees the defending Super Bowl champions favored on the road. However, the much heralded Giants ‘D’ will have to contend with an MVP caliber quarterback in Kurt Warner, who has been shredding secondaries all season long.

Packers vs Saints odds

Unquestionably the most exciting game on the board, Monday Night Football fans are in for yet another treat, and yet another shootout. Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees will go head to head in what promises to be a high scoring affair, if the monster total of 53.5 means anything!

NFL Betting - Plenty of value on the NFL betting board

November 12, 2008

By: BetOnline.com

Online sportsbook customers, offshore betting nuts, sports betting sharps and NFL football betting enthusiasts are primed for another week full of NFL odds, NFL lines, NFL spreads, and are set to make their NFL picks! This week we have plenty of value on the NFL board, on a tremendous week full of great matchups for the fans. Sharps will be flocking to their sportsbook to make their picks shortly, and you should too!

Let’s take a look at the top NFL betting games of the week!

Browns vs Bills odds

In a rematch of last year’s Snow Bowl, we have two struggling football clubs that will be fighting to stay alive in the NFL betting playoff hunt. The Browns will be starting Brady Quinn, his first appearance on the road in his brief NFL career. The Bills will counter with the struggling Trent Edwards, who will look to get back in form on Monday.

Steelers vs Chargers odds

Ben Roethlisberger will travel to sunny San Diego and battle through a shoulder injury in this one. The Chargers narrowly won last week, but are nonetheless back in the playoff hunt. Two hungry teams should make for a fantastic defensive battle.

Cowboys vs Redskins odds

Tony Romo will return in this one for the Cowboys, which could be bad news for the Redskins. However, Clinton Portis is running like an MVP and is capable of controlling the game on his own.

Mid-week football action gets it started

November 11, 2008

By: BetOnline.com

Online sportsbook customers, offshore sports wagering sharps, as well as NCAA football betting and NFL betting sharps are pumped for another exciting week of football betting! This week kicks off early as the Jets and Patriots do battle on Thursday night at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, and then we move into the always thrilling NCAA football betting schedule on Saturday night.

Let’s take a look at the big matchups this week!

Jets vs Patriots line

Sure, it isn’t Tom Brady vs Brett Favre, but Matt Cassel has certainly been playing like an all-star as of late in Brady’s place. Cassel led the Pats over division rival Buffalo last week, and got a bunch of help from former Ole Miss running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who rushed for more than 100 yards. The Jets had a cakewalk against St. Louis, and might not be focused for this game. Can the Patriots grind out another victory and defy NFL football odds?

Notre Dame vs Navy odds

College football’s most storied rivalry renews this week, as the Fighting Irish take on the Midshipmen. This contest is played annually—a rivalry of mutual respect between two proud programs. Navy has already secured its bowl bid, and if this wasn’t its biggest rivalry game, it might be hitting cruise control. However the Midshipmen and their option offense will be in full force. Notre Dame will counter with a high octane passing attack led by Jimmy Clausen.

Hot NFL betting action week 10

By BetOnline.com

Online sportsbook customers, NFL bettors and sports betting sharps are primed for another week of NFL odds, NFL lines, NFL spreads and NFL picks. This week features another healthy dose of divisional rivalries, conferences clashes, Monday Night Football betting, and Thursday night duels that will keep bettors on their toes all week long.

Let’s take a look at the hottest NFL odds, NFL lines, NFL spreads and NFL picks of the online betting week!

Broncos vs Browns odds

Brady Quinn will make his NFL debut in this duel at home in front of a generall rabid Cleveland Browns crowd at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. This promises to be an all-out scoring festival, a matchup between two teams that love to air the ball out. Jay Cutler will be Quinn’s adversary for the Broncos, who has looked shaky in his last two outings—both losses. Bet on the Browns.

Giants vs Eagles odds

While the Eagles are favored in this NFC East clash, it is the Giants who are the play in this one. New York has a superior defense, and a much more consistent passing and running game to get this job done on the road.

Colts vs Steelers odds

With Ben Roethlisberger on the shelf, the Colts have a huge advantage in this one, and should be able to ride the momentum of last week’s victory over the Patriots to another one this week. Bet on the Colts.

Packers vs Vikings odds

In a battle of two excellent defenses, it is the superior offense that is the play in this one. Bet on the Packers.

NFL Odds - Big week in NFL betting

October 29, 2008

By BetOnline.com

Online sportsbook customers, sports betting sharps and NFL betting enthusiasts are looking forward to a full slate of NFL odds, NFL spreads, NFL lines and NFL picks this weekend. On the board includes an exciting Monday Night Football betting matchup, an AFC clash and an NFC East marquee battle.

Let’s take a look at the top three games on the BetOnline.com board this weekend!

Patriots vs Colts odds

This sure isn’t as well-hyped as the Patriots vs Colts betting matchups between 2003 and 2007, but sportsbook customers are still flocking to their computers to bet on this AFC matchup. The Patriots travel to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana to battle the Colts. Indy is coming off another crushing loss against division rival Tennessee, in which they could not stop the run. The Patriots will be coming after the Colts with fullback Kevin Faulk often, while still targeting Randy Moss deep down field. Bet on the Patriots.

Cowboys vs Giants odds

When evaluating Cowboys vs Giants odds, one can see that the Super Bowl champions are favored in this matchup for the first time in a long while. With Brad Johnson at the helm, the Cowboys don’t have what it takes to unseat the G-men from the top of the NFC East standings. Bet on New York!

Steelers vs Redskins odds

Even though the Redskins are favored in this one, the Steelers are the play thanks to their stellar defense, and run game that never seems to diminish. Bet the Steelers, and also bet the under with two low-scoring teams locking horns.

NFL Betting - Bye-heavy week in NFL betting action

October 23, 2008

By BetOnline.com

As bettors wait for World Series odds, World Series lines and the World Series spread to open up, there’s plenty of NFL betting action to take advantage of this weekend. Unlike last week, this week will be marked by defensive struggles for the most part, meaning bettors will be on the edge of their seat as they click away on their sportsbook. Let’s take a look at the exciting NFL odds, NFL lines and NFL spreads for this week that you should look out for while NFL betting this weekend!

Giants vs Steelers odds

No Willie Parker may mean no chance for the Steelers in this NFL betting matchup. The Pro-Bowl back is still listed as questionable, with Mewelde Moore as the de facto starter in the meantime. Moore was able to run all over the Bengals last week, but won’t have that luxury against the tough Giants run defense. New York comes in full healthy, and coming off a bit more of a test than Pittsburgh is, having defeated San Francisco last week. Bet on the Giants!

Colts vs Titans odds

These aren’t the Colts we remember from the Super Bowl a few years ago. This is a troubled football team, which now has to deal with an injury to its star running back, Joseph Addai. The Titans, meanwhile, are undefeated, and have looked dominant in every single game. Tennessee’s defense will be too much in this NFL betting matchup. Check the NFL odds and NFL lines, and bet on the Titans.

Chargers vs Saints line

Both teams coming off a loss, however the Saints looked to be the better of the two. The Drew Brees-Phillip Rivers rivalry will be renewed, with the Saints likely coming out on top in this NFL betting matchup.

NFL Football Betting - Bounce-back weeks expected in NFL action

October 17, 2008

By BetOnline.com

Online sportsbook customers and NFL betting sharps are looking forward to an exciting week of NFL betting action. There are plenty of storylines to go around, as teams such as the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins look to turn things around, and get back on the championship course. Let’s take a look at some of the favorable NFL betting odds and NFL betting lines for this weekend!

Browns vs Redskins line

After an embarrassing loss to the Rams, the Redskins are still favorites according to NFL betting odds. The Browns, meanwhile, shattered NFL betting lines and defeated the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. This looks like it could be a shootout, so take a look at the over on your online sportsbook. With the Browns riding momentum, they could be a sexy NFL pick this week.

Saints vs Panthers line

The ultimate battle between defense and offense—the NFL’s most potent offense, against its toughest defense. Much of this game will depend on Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme and whether he can be himself once again!

Colts vs Packers line

Speaking of shootouts, this could be the ultimate quarterback battle between Peyton Manning and the rookie Aaron Rodgers. Bet the over, and take a look at the Colts as underdogs on NFL betting lines!

Broncos vs Patriots line

After another loss last week, the Patriots look very human once again, and could be easy prey for a surging Broncos squad. Take a look at the Broncos on the moneyline at your online sportsbook!

“THE DIRTY DOZEN” FOOTBALL PICKS

October 15, 2008

By: Dirty

I hope everyone has had a good week. Here we are for the First Edition of “The Dirty Dozen”. It is a take on this week 12 best bets in NCAA Football and the NFL. I don’t know a thing about Hockey so never will there be a Hockey play, but when the NBA and NCAA Basketball starts there will be a combo of all 4. I will not go into detail with stats, trends, etc. It will be a tongue in cheek look at the week’s football games. I will be a combo of humor and common sense. Just trying to bring a lighter side to picking games for the week. I will keep a record each week and we will see how I do. I hope you guys enjoy it. I will List the Rotation Number, Team and Line so they will be easy to find.

NCAA FOOTBALL

Not too much stands out this week so I am just going to pick some games that I think are winners. Most of the public may be on them or not. I have not checked.

  • 304 TCU Horny Toads -1 – You can still get this game at a PK at some places but -1 is a widely available number. The Horny Toads will kick the crap out of the BYU Mormons on Thursday. The Mormons have played Sisters of the Blind U and the Archangel Monks and their Brethren all year. They played an overrated UCLA Pansies team after they stomped the Inbreds from Tennessee and that is it. The Horny Toads Defense will be the best they have seen all year and their size will bring home a Double Digit win.
  • UCONN Huskies PK – The Huskies will Travel to New Jersey to play probably the most overrated Program in the History of College Football. They have been repeatedly been embarrassed at since the Cinderella season of 3 years ago. They got Bitch slapped at home last year by The Greg Robinson’s from Syracuse, Get Manhandled on National TV Twice by Mediocre Programs Fresno State and UNC (AT HOME). Greg Schiano should have taken the Miami jog and gotten out of this cesspool of a job when he could have.
  • 325 Kansas Jayhawks +20 – they Battle the Thugs from Oklahoma this week in Norman. Kansas does not have the talent, but I expect them to play this one close. OU the past few years has not responded well after getting bitch slapped, which is what Texas did to them last week in the Red River Rivalry. I expect OU to win but by way less than the almost 3 TD’s you are getting here.
  • 338 UGA Bulldogs Under 45 – This total is way too high. UGA keeps losing Tackles like inbreds from Alabama Lose teeth. They are down to their 3rd and 4th string guys. They are still Talented enough to win games and will most likely win easily but have not been scoring a lot of points. Look for Knowshown Moreno to rack up the yards and for Stafford to pass just enough to keep the Vandy defense in Check. Vandy is also Changing Starting QB’s after their dismal performance to shatter their Cinderella season last week at the pitiful Mississippi State Poodles. I don’t expect them to score more than 7-10 points. Look for a 31-7 type game here. Expect UGA to be looking ahead a little as well on Homecoming weekend to the trip the LSU next week.
  • 374 LA Tech Ragin Cajuns -20 – They are playing the Potatoes from Idaho… Give me a break. They may as well suit up the moose like Cheerleaders and send them down to the Bayou. This is going to be a route by a decent LA Tech team that beat Maryland earlier in the season. Look for LA Tech to put up season Highs in Points, Yards, and Spuds Mashed after rolling up the worst team in FBS football.
  • 382 South Carolina Gamecocks +3 – Play the Roosters on the Money line…They beat the Bayou Bengals outright. LSU is looking past the cocks to the Georgia BullFrawgs Next week. Spurrier’s Offense showed some life last week beating Kentucky. LSU is only a shadow of the team they have been the last 5-6 years.
  • 394 UCLA Bruins PK – They are playing the Brains from Stanford. Jim Harbaugh has his team playing well but Not on the road. I don’t know why the Line has went to the Pansies from UCLA being a 2.5 point fave to a pick… Really don’t care. They have enough talent to beat Stanford at Home. Look for a High Scoring affair as well. The Pansies win a shootout 54-45.

NFL

  • 406 KC Chiefs +8 – You can find some 9’s out there if you are lucky… You will not need them. The Anemic Injuns and their Water Pistol Offense Led by Larry Johnson will win out right. Look for the Unbeaten Titans to come in and sputter. They had an off week last weekend and they will come in over confident and catch one right in the mouth. I look for Johnson to have 150+ yards on the ground and Tenn to have some special teams Mistakes and a couple of Turnovers. Arrowhead is a tough place to play no matter how bad the Injuns are and 8 points is way too much too be laying for a road dog in the parity driven NFL.
  • 408 Buffalo Bills PK – Look for the Bills to win easily at home against the SD Chargers who keep winning despite the awful coaching of Norv Turner. The Chargers are fresh off kicking the Patriots ass on Sunday Night football and will get in the Cold weather in Buffalo and get kicked right in the Ding-Ding. Look for a 2 TD win and Lee Evans to have a field day in the Charger Secondary.
  • 410 Cincinnati Bengals +9.5 – The Bungal Thugs have been playing better lately even without Carson Palmer. They played well against Dallas a couple weeks ago and their offense is getting better. Look for a Low Scoring game and Pitt winning by no more than 7 points late. The Steelers Defense and their running game will control the clock and they pull out a 20-17 win.
  • 416 Chicago Bears -3 – They should beat the Vikings easily. Horton has the Bear offense clicking and they lost a damn heartbreaker last week against my Falcons. They played well on offense. Defense was shaky at times, but with Minnehaha offense it does not need to be great. Look for the Bears to win by 2 TD’s and the Vikings to struggle outdoors again.
  • 417/418 New Orleans Saints/Carolina Panthers Over 44.5 – Look for this to be a shootout. The Saints are just snake bitten. They have played well enough to only have one loss this season. Look for them to get back on track in a shootout in Carolina. Neither team will stop the other one. Brees and Delhomme will have great days and the Saints will come away with a 31-27 win.
