by Dirty on September 20, 2009

Divisional bragging rights will be on the line on Sunday when the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers meet at Dodger Stadium.

Ace righthander Tim Lincecum will take the mound for the Giants to start this game. Lincecum is 14-5 this season with a 2.30 ERA.

It’ll be Randy Wolf toeing the rubber for the Dodgers in this contest. Lefthander Wolf is 10-6 with a 3.24 ERA so far this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Giants listed as 105-moneyline favorites versus the Dodgers, while the game’s total is sitting at 7.

Ronnie Belliard’s grand slam was the icing on the cake for the Dodgers, who crushed their NL West rivals, the Giants, 12-1 in Game 2 of their weekend series at Dodgers Stadium.

Dodgers starter Jon Garland would not be outdone by the bats, going eight innings and allowing just one unearned run on seven hits. First baseman James Loney added two RBIs on 3-for-4 hitting with a home run.

The Giants watched Brad Penny struggle in just under three innings of work. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval registered two hits while Randy Winn had the team’s lone RBI.

Los Angeles won as a -137 home favorite while the final score played over the 8-run total.
