The West Virginia Mountaineers and the Pittsburgh Panthers will both be gunning for a victory on Thursday when they meet at Madison Square Garden.

West Virginia held Notre Dame to just 18 points in the first half, as they ran away with a 74-62 victory in the second round of the Big East Tournament on Wednesday. West Virginia covered the 6-point spread, while the 136 points went UNDER the posted total of 140.

Alex Ruoff dropped a team-high 25 points to lead the way, and Da’Sean Butler added 20 points.

Thanks to 31 points and 10 boards from Sam Young, Pitt knocked off UConn 70-60 on Saturday afternoon.
