SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento football and video game fans lined early to get “Madden NFL 10,” which went on sale at the stroke of midnight Friday.
Buyers turned out at Game Stop in Natomas.
“For me, this is like Christmas,” said Deometrius Robinson, who bought a copy.
The latest installment in the 21-year-old franchise is being billed as the most realistic version yet.
Players can customize their team’s game-day look using pieces from home, away, alternate and classic uniforms, and the game’s television-like production is enhanced with varied camera angles between plays and on kickoffs.
